About Citizen21
Citizen21 is a quest, an ideal, and a project rooted in the promise of humanity and the principles of democracy. These are universal values that still need to be embraced at a higher level.
Citizen21 believes that Citizenship has to have a human face, become a reality and a way of life. For that to happen we need a more cohesive community. We will work to enable that by building it from the ground, from home to home, street to street, school to school, working place to working place, café to café and playground to playground. Wherever there is a human being.
We are mindful of the differences but focused on the essential because these times demand pragmatism. No more no less.
There is no unity of political views or religious obedience or cultural background within the founders of Citizen21; we are a pure reflection of the society of today and the world by extension. Our belief is that:
“The core values of democracy and humanity that founded our community provide us with tools to overcome differences and build a 21st Century model of society”
From Denmark we will reach out to every individual who believes that this Century must be the one for the Citizen.
